CORPORATE GIFTS

There are people who specialize in corporate gifts This is a totally different category of gifting as compared to the others as it is about placing bulk orders and being of a formal setting So to speak these gifts are not meant for a loved one Rather it is meant for the personnel of the company as well as the clients and regular customers It is a way of saying that the company thinks of them even on special occasionsCorporate gifting is more like an exercise conducted to maintain older clients and indirectly attract new clientsUsually a company places an order for a specified number of gifts

There could be two or three types demarcating the budget according to the people being gifted For instance during the Diwali festival the company may want to distribute gifts amongst its staff It may decide to order expensive gifts such as dinner sets for the upper ranking managers it could order lampshades for the middle management and for the subordinates it could be cutlery with dry fruitsThe company could order gifts for its clients with the companies symbol or logo stamped onto them The common corporate gifts include pens calendars diaries silver coins with their logo pen stand and other office stationary When placing an order for corporate gifts the company clearly mentions that it wants its logo to be printed on every gift Apart from that they give instructions to have them giftwrapped. In India the companies distribute gifts primarily on two occasions which are Diwali and Christmas or New Years Eve It maybe either on both the occasions or then anyone of them During Diwali they prefer to send gifts in which they can have dry fruits placed as it is considered auspicious If not dry fruits then the Indian sweets.
